Finalists at Children & Young People Now Awards!

George’s story

Clare’s son, George, 6, was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukaemia (ALL) when he was just two years old. This Summer, George rung the bell at St. Peter’s Hospital, signifying the end of his cancer treatment. Clare, from Woking, Surrey, shares their story.

Noam’s story

Noam, 14, from Kingston upon Thames, was first diagnosed with cancer 12 years ago, when he was just 2 years old. Despite making a full recovery, 10 years later, in a completely unrelated turn of events, Noam got cancer again, thankfully, making a full recovery. Noam and his mum, Anna, share their story.

Eli’s story

Eli, 4, from Brighton, was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukaemia (ALL) in March 2023. His mum, Amy, shares their story.

Florence’s story

Chloe’s daughter, Florence, was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukaemia (ALL) in April 2023, when she was just 23 months old. Chloe, from Gillingham, Kent, shares their story.

Sam’s story

Sam*, 10, from Weybridge, Surrey, was diagnosed with T-cell acute lymphoblastic lymphoma (T-LBL) three and a half years ago, in March 2021 and has just completed his cancer treatment. Sam has been receiving treatment at St. George’s Hospital in London and St. Peter’s Hospital in Chertsey. Sam’s mum shares their story.

Mia Turrent,14, from Richmond, London, has been raising money for Momentum Children’s Charity. Mia’s younger sister Ximena, 8, was diagnosed with cancer two years ago and the family have been receiving support from us. Mia shares her story:

Clare’s story

Clare, from Sunbury-on-Thames, very sadly experienced the death of her 13-year-old son, Harry, when he died suddenly during the night last summer. The family have been receiving support from Momentum’s bereavement support service, Echoes. Clare shares her story.
