Gemma and Archie’s story

Gemma’s 13-year-old son Archie has a rare metabolic disorder called Pompe disease. Gemma, from Copthorne, Surrey, started receiving support from Momentum earlier this year and recently stayed at one of our respite cabins. Gemma shares her story.

Isobel and Harry’s story

Isobel’s* son, Harry, four, was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia (ALL) in March 2023, when he was just two years old. Harry* has recently completed his cancer treatment and will start school this September. Isobel, from West Sussex, shares her story.

George’s story

Clare’s son, George, 6, was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukaemia (ALL) when he was just two years old. This Summer, George rung the bell at St. Peter’s Hospital, signifying the end of his cancer treatment. Clare, from Woking, Surrey, shares their story.

Sam’s story

Sam*, 10, from Weybridge, Surrey, was diagnosed with T-cell acute lymphoblastic lymphoma (T-LBL) three and a half years ago, in March 2021 and has just completed his cancer treatment. Sam has been receiving treatment at St. George’s Hospital in London and St. Peter’s Hospital in Chertsey. Sam’s mum shares their story.

Noam’s story

Noam, 14, from Kingston upon Thames, was first diagnosed with cancer 12 years ago, when he was just 2 years old. Despite making a full recovery, 10 years later, in a completely unrelated turn of events, Noam got cancer again, thankfully, making a full recovery. Noam and his mum, Anna, share their story.
