Ted’s story
Meet Ted. He’s five years old, a serial biscuit thief, and has a reserved spot on the sofa that nobody dares question.
Ted is a white French Bulldog, gifted to Charlie’s family by a kind-hearted breeder who simply wanted to do something good for a child who had been through a lot. From the moment he arrived, he just seemed to belong.
“When Charlie was on really bad chemo, Ted would just sit with him and make him feel calmer and more relaxed.”
Some dogs have a way of finding exactly where they’re supposed to be.
Why it matters
For families like Charlie’s, the hardest days are made a little softer by the love of a pet. But they also need real, practical support.
Momentum provides counselling, sibling support, therapies and hands-on help for families across London, Surrey and Sussex, from the moment of diagnosis and for as long as we’re needed.
No family should face it alone. And with your help, they won’t have to.

How to take part
Your £10 registration fee secures a place for your dog, with up to two dogs allowed per entry.
