The fearless daredevils taking on the one-of-a-kind wing walking challenge in Headcorn, Kent are; Abbie Guyatt, Hannah Palmer, Halyna Orlova, Jonathan Green, Laura Keating, and Lesly Carrillo.

Air Charter Service provides private jet, commercial airliner and cargo aircraft charters. The company have been supporting Momentum for eight years and to date they have raised more than £60,000 for the charity through fundraising events including bake-offs, curry-oke evenings and Christmas parties. Every penny raised by Air Charter Service staff goes towards supporting Momentum’s work in helping local families with seriously ill children.

Laura Keating from Air Charter Service is taking part in the wing walk. She said: “I’ve had a very mixed set of feelings leading up to Sunday’s wing walk! I keep going from, ‘oh yeah this is gonna be so cool’ to ‘okay, I feel nauseous’ in a space of seconds! It’s going to be an incredible experience regardless. It’s nice to know we’re all going to support each other and make some memories for the ACS history books along the way! It feels very rewarding to be able to raise money for Momentum. They are a great, local charity and knowing the money we have raised will really make a difference, is a great motivator!

Bianca Effemey, Founder and CEO of Momentum Children’s Charity said: “Wishing the team a huge amount of luck for Sunday’s event. This challenge is a test of the mind – signing up to stand on the wings of an airplane in the sky shows real guts and determination. Having the support from Air Charter Service is something we are truly grateful for. Over the years they have shown real commitment to our cause, and being a local business, they have been able to see the impact their fundraising has made to families with very unwell children.”
