Move for Momentum 2025 Fundraisers

Huge thanks to Noah, Mabel, Isla and Amber and their families who shared their stories, helping to raise awareness of childhood cancer and Momentum through news outlets including BBC Surrey and Sussex, Radio Jackie, and numerous regional and local news websites.

Hundreds of people threw themselves into our new fundraising campaign, Move for Momentum, with an incredible number of challenge events taking place across Surrey, Sussex and London. A sky-dive, a superhero walk, tough mudding troupers, a lawn mowing marathon, a jump-a-thon, a dance-a-thon, a fitness Friday challenge, 28km walking challenges, a ‘laps around the planet’ toddler nursery sponsored walk, a special yoga session and riverside walks are just some of the brilliant events that have happened. To date, more than £5,000 has been raised for Momentum – simply brilliant!

Thomas, one of our Young Ambassadors mowed lawns in his neighbourhood for Move for Momentum. Talking about his challenge, Thomas said: “I mowed 10 lawns in total, which raised £122.50.  The hardest part was making sure that I didn’t ruin anyone’s lawn! There’s no reason to not do a challenge because everyone can do something to raise money, and you can have fun at the same time!”

With a week to go, it is not too late to get involved in Move for Momentum! Find out more here
