Mowing for Momentum

Thomas clocked up thousands of steps during his challenge as well as raising a fantastic sum of money.
Talking about his challenge, Thomas said: “I thought about different things I could do close to home to raise money and decided on mowing lawns because I often cut the grass in our garden for some pocket money. We sent a message to our neighbours to let them know about my challenge, and I mowed 10 lawns in total, which raised £122.50. The hardest part of my challenge was making sure that I didn’t ruin anyone’s lawn! There’s no reason to not do a challenge because everyone can do something to raise money, and you can have fun at the same time!”
Earlier this year, Thomas organised an Easter Egg fundraiser, where he collected 160 chocolate eggs which were donated by fellow students at his school and his mum’s colleagues. The eggs were distributed to children being treated at East Surrey Hospital. A huge thank you for everything you are doing Thomas!
