The route saw runners pass some of the capital’s iconic landmarks including Big Ben, St. Paul’s Cathedral, the Cheesegrater and the Scalpel. It was the seventh year of the event, and this year was extra-special as it celebrated raising more than £50m for charities since the event first took place, seven years ago.

Sixteen fantastic individuals ran for Momentum, raising nearly £8,500 – incredible! The money raised will help us continue supporting more families who need us.

One of our runners, Eddy said: “I lost my brother to cancer when he was just five years old, and I wanted to run for a charity that helps children with cancer and other illnesses. This is the third year I have done this event and Momentum has been so supportive, making me feel really appreciated and part of a brilliant team. I am so pleased I’ve raised more than £900 for them.”

Thank you to our wonderful squad of volunteers who clapped, yelled and cheered for our runners, motivating them to reach the finish line!
