Meet our hospital ambassador for Worthing
- Hospital partnerships

This month, Jane Boxhall, Ward Administrator for the children’s ward at Worthing Hospital in Sussex talks about her role as hospital ambassador for Momentum:
“I’ve worked as the Ward Administrator on Bluefin Ward for 11 years. I truly enjoy my role and love meeting all the patients and parents who come through the ward. Many of the children are regular visitors, so I’ve got to know them and their families really well over the years.
I first became involved with Momentum three and a half years ago, when they began supporting families at our hospital. Since then, their Family Support Workers have become an invaluable part of our ward team and a great support to our patients. Momentum is now included in our daily huddles, where we discuss any inpatients who may benefit from a referral or simply need someone to talk to.
I took on the role of hospital ambassador as I serve as the main point of contact for Momentum and their Family Support Workers. In this role, I’ve helped integrate the Family Support Workers into our hospital team by introducing them to staff, ensuring they feel welcomed and included. I meet weekly with Amy, our Momentum Family Support Worker, and we stay in regular contact throughout the week to share patient updates and discuss any changes.
I’ve witnessed firsthand the incredible difference Momentum’s support makes to our patients and their families. Their presence is felt even beyond the hospital walls—they’re always there when needed. The support they provide is truly invaluable, and we’re extremely grateful for our partnership with them.
A huge thank you to Jane, and all our hospital ambassadors for everything they are doing to support Momentum. Find out more about our hospital partnerships here
