Haskins Roundstone raises over £13,000 for Momentum
The team also took part in a sponsored 5k inflatable run in Guildford that raised £1,800. Haskins’ restaurant also hosted a performance from the Sussex Sax Band, with guests donating to attend.
Nick Joad, General Manager of Haskins Roundstone said, “Momentum’s work in the local community is truly inspiring. We’ve heard so many incredible stories about the charity’s work from the families of our customers, staff and myself, so it was only natural to continue the partnership from last year. I’d like to thank the wonderful customers who all helped in our fundraising efforts, the generosity of our community never fails to impress me, and it goes to show how valuable Momentum’s work is.”
Sarah Wood, CEO at Momentum, said, “We are immensely grateful to Haskins Roundstone for the team’s support over the past year. The dedication and enthusiasm of staff and customers has raised over £13,000 to support our work. From taking on an inflatable run to organising an Easter raffle, pebble painting in the summer, and spreading festive joy at their Christmas grotto, the teams’ efforts have been really inspiring. It is clear to see that a lot of creativity and hard work has gone into organising these fundraising events. We are delighted that Haskins Roundstone has chosen to support us for another year -, and we look forward to continuing to work together to make a difference to the lives of families with seriously ill children.”
