This is the second year of our Move for Momentum fundraising challenge which encourages people to get active throughout September and help raise vital funds to help families whose children are facing cancer.

As an experienced yoga teacher with 26 years of yoga and meditation practice behind her, Lyndsay Kenwright has inspired countless people through her teaching, welcoming people of all abilities to her classes.

On Monday 7 September, Lyndsay will host a special one-hour Hatha and Vinyasa yoga class at Molesey Centre for the Community from 6.30pm to 7.30pm, inviting people to come together and raise money for Momentum. The event will also mark Lyndsay’s first class at the venue since it reopened following its refurbishment earlier this year.

Talking about the special yoga class, Lyndsay said: “I am really excited to be leading this special yoga class as part of Move for Momentum during Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. Yoga has been a big part of my life for years, and I have seen the positive impact that movement, breathing and mindfulness can have on people’s wellbeing. I hope this class gives people the chance to take time for themselves, connect with others and support a local charity doing amazing work to support families going through unimaginable times.”

To attend the Move for Momentum yoga class, you can book online here by selecting the Hatha/Vinyasa class Monday 7 September, or alternatively, you can pay cash on the day. It is a donation-based class, and Lyndsay is advising a minimum donation of £10 per person.
