An incredible group of ten women make up our Family Support Team and they are taking on a group challenge to move 388 kilometres. Emma, Jackie, Hana, Diana, Lucy, Amy, Sam, Sophie, Claire, and Annie will cover 38km each by walking, swimming, running, moving in any way they can in September. Together, they hope to raise £388.

Emma Searle, Family Support Manager at Momentum said: “388 kilometres is a distance that represents the 388 families we supported across our partner hospitals last September. Every step, skip, shuffle, swim, and shake will help raise vital funds to continue being there for families when they need us most.”

There is still time to get involved – we want as many of you as possible to sign up to take part in Move for Momentum! People can get active in their own way – whether it is cycling or walking to school throughout September, bouncing on a trampoline, swimming 1, 5, or even ten miles, or taking on a fun dance challenge. You can even come up with your own creative way to get moving. Families, schools, and groups are all encouraged to take part.
