One of the bare hospital rooms has been transformed into a calm and peaceful environment where parents and carers can escape to during the long periods spent in hospital accompanying their sick children.

As well as being a place to relax, there are facilities for making tea, coffee and a light bite. Parents of children with cancer typically spend two to three years going through treatment and are often stressed and exhausted. This special room is a lifeline to them and provides an oasis of tranquillity and comfort.
