Taking on a skydive for Move for Momentum

The partnership will combine exciting fundraising activities and volunteering opportunities. PTL has generously pledged to support us not only with deliveries and event logistics, but also by offering their skills to help our supported families directly through building and construction projects.

PTL is a local family-run company who provide a vast range of building materials, landscaping must-haves, fencing panels, and quality tools for homes and gardens. The Sunbury-on-Thames based company started supporting Momentum earlier this year when we were the beneficiary of their annual Golf Day which raised a fantastic £1500. Just a couple of weeks ago, one of their brilliant employees, James, overcame his fear of heights, bravely jumping 15,000ft out of a plane in a tandem skydive raising an impressive £2986.80 as part of our Move for Momentum fundraising challenge.

Talking about his skydive, James said: “Jumping out of a plane at 15,000 feet was the most terrifying but incredible thing I have ever done! Knowing I was raising money for Momentum kept me going and made the whole experience so worthwhile. I am proud to have pushed myself out of my comfort zone and am looking forward to seeing what is next for our partnership.”
