Our new CEO, Sarah Woods, was joined by our Corporate Fundraising Manager, Victoria Futcher, and Monica Harding, MP for Esher and Walton as they cut the ribbon to officially open the Church Street-based bank. Members of the Nationwide Senior Leadership Team and branch staff were also in attendance.

We are proud to be the charity partner for Nationwide Walton-on-Thames. Since they started supporting us three years ago, they have raised more than £2,000 – fantastic!

Samantha Larman, Branch Manager at Nationwide Walton-on-Thames said: “We choose to support Momentum because the daughter of one of our staff is a nurse in the local community and she told us about the support given to some of the children she was looking after.  We wanted to support something close to the community that we could all be involved in.” 

Samantha continued: “Every year we raffle a hamper for Momentum – our customers really enjoy taking part in this. We raise awareness with leaflets and banners in the branch with more information about Momentum, emphasising that you are a local charity.”
