A team of runners take on Santa in the City

The 4km route kicked off with runners crossing the world-famous Millennium Bridge before heading along the South Bank. Participants then made their way over Southwark Bridge, past the Tower of London and Tower Bridge, through the heart of the city, finishing in Paternoster Square.

Every runner took part dressed for the occasion, having received a one-size-fits-all Santa suit – complete with jacket, trousers, hat, beard and belt, transforming the streets of London into a sea of Santas.

The relatively flat course welcomed runners, joggers and walkers, so it was perfect for all levels of fitness.

Amongst those running for Momentum, were two teams from our wonderful corporate supporters, AMS and Zebra Technologies. Collectively, our runners have raised more than £1500 through sponsorship – amazing! Every penny raised will help us support families with seriously ill children this Christmas and beyond.

A huge thank you to everyone who took part – you are all Santa superstars!
