Our coffee mornings run four times a year and are an opportunity for Momentum supported families to chat, share experiences and get advice in a relaxed, informal environment.

Hampton Court Golf Club kindly hosted the morning, donating both the room and the refreshments.

Celine, from Surbiton, London, was one of the mums who attended the event. She said: “Momentum’s coffee mornings have been a lifeline — a space to connect with others who truly understand. We share and support each other through every stage of our children’s journeys. I’ve made real friendships here, with people who just get it.”

Talking about the coffee mornings, Momentum’s Community Family Support Worker, Sam, said: ““Our coffee mornings are a welcoming space for all the families we support. We hold them in various locations across Sussex, Surrey, and London to make them as accessible as possible. Parents, siblings, and grandparents are all warmly invited. We understand that coming along for the first time can feel a little daunting, but so many families have told us that once they arrive, they feel at ease and reassured—comforted by the company of others who truly understand what they’re going through.”
