Momentum supported child receives advent calendar

Our tradition of sending advent calendars is now in its fifth year, and thanks to a generous grant from Haskins Garden Centres, and the work of our incredible volunteers, 345 calendars were packed and posted to our supported families.

The chocolate treats were well received, providing moments of joy for children in treatment and siblings being supported by our bereavement service, Echoes.

One parent said: “Thank you to Momentum and Haskins for the children’s advent calendars. I feel emotional even writing this, they have had a terrible virus and are off school, the packages arrived this morning and caused so much jollity. It has been a totally brutal 15 months and this little package of joy this morning has meant so much to them, and to us.”

Another parent added: “I just wanted to say what a lovely thing Momentum did sending my daughter an advent calendar, thank you.”
