“Late night hospital visits, antibiotics, and custard cream biscuits, rounds of chemotherapy and missing out on friends and family gatherings became the norm. Fortunately, the bad experiences have largely faded from my memory over time. Today, it’s the positive memories that stand out and these could not have happened without Momentum. From painting murals in my hospital room to make my time less daunting, constantly restocking the snack cupboard to ensure I always had a treat waiting after a treatment, to providing cabin holidays allowing me to spend valuable time with my extended family.  I remember Momentum as a constant support around us all.

I am now 10 years clear from Leukaemia and have just completed my A-levels. I’m hoping to study Human Geography and Economics at university. Outside of school, my hobbies include, golf, hiking, watching live music/ cinema and cooking.

I am proud to be a young ambassador for Momentum and am free to answer any questions.”
