About us
Momentum Children’s Charity supports families across Surrey, Sussex, London and the wider South East whose child has cancer or another life-challenging condition. Working with local NHS hospitals, we provide tailored practical and emotional support, therapies and respite breaks for the whole family, for as long as needed. Our Momentum Echoes service supports families through bereavement, and we improve hospital spaces to make them more welcoming.

Who we are
We started our mission to help families of seriously ill children back in 2004. By offering tailored care to every child referred to us, we’ve been able to support hundreds of families through the hardest of times, so that they can keep moving forward.

Our Impact and Annual Reports
Every single day we make a positive difference to the lives of the children and families we support; to be there to help them whatever the outcome, for as long as we’re needed.

Safeguarding Statement
All children and young people linked with Momentum Children’s Charity, wherever they are, whoever they are with, whatever they are doing, have the right to protection from neglect, physical, emotional and sexual abuse.

Our Vision
We’re passionate about helping as many families as we can to keep moving forward, and our vision is that no family with a seriously ill child or that has experienced the death of a child should have to cope alone.

Our Team
Meet the people behind Momentum. Across family support, fundraising, marketing, finance and administration, our team works together to make sure no family facing childhood illness or bereavement has to cope alone.

Our Trustees
We work with an incredibly supportive Board of Trustees who passionately believe in the work that we do and who are committed to helping us achieve our vision year on year.

Our Ambassadors
We’re lucky to have a whole host of famous faces supporting our mission to make sure no family with a seriously ill child has to cope alone.

Our Young Ambassadors
Meet our young ambassadors, a group of children and young people aged between 10-22 years old that have all been supported by Momentum Children’s Charity.

Work with us
We’re on a mission to expand and help even more families with seriously ill children to keep moving forward, and we’ll need brilliant and talented people to share our ambition and make it happen.

Please give today and help us make sure no family has to cope alone

Momentum has given us the coping tools to get through each week and to have things to look forward to. I don’t think I would’ve got through the last few years without Momentum.
